The person who has gotten me through the most:
Obviously, there are a lot of people in my life
who have been supportive and loving.
But, I mean, come on.
Who else slapped a band-aid on my knee when I fell down as a kid?
Or made me practice the piano so hard that I now have a talent I appreciate?
Or lightly pinched my calf in church when I didn't wear nylons as a reminder of my disrespect?
Or let me cry on the phone when my college freshman roommates were being mean?
My mom. That's who.
I love you, Mom.
